About Us
<div align="left">Hello to everyone from TandyServices.com<div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">My
name is James Tandy and I just want to give you all a little insight into Tandy Services, myself, my wife, and why I started this site.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I have been in trucking since 1993. I have done heavy haul, box vans, flatbed, step deck, and most recently specialty freight. I haul boats across the USA with my wife and our dog. I have been into the boat building aspect of things along with wood working. I am self taught on building websites. It is something that I really enjoy and do on my down time.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">My wife, Deb, does not understand the building aspect of things. She does however use the sites and lets me know if there are errors or if something just don’t look right. She also helps to load and unload the boats that I haul.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Our dog is a little min pin named Nikki. She likes to think that she helps. She wants attention a lot and likes to sit on my lap when I am working on the computer. She helps with the hauling by barking at anyone that comes near the truck or load. Of course she also barks at people clear across the parking lot. But that is our little Nikki.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">As to why I decided to build Tandy Services is because we began having problems with our pay. Either we would not get the day pays that we should have or would not get the width pay on the oversized boats. We had to keep looking back through our paperwork to check it out and it was a pain. At times we sent all paperwork in and was told that some things were not written down or were missing and that I had to resend them. I no longer had them in my possession by that time.</div><div dir="auto">It was all getting irritating and simply put, really getting me ticked off. So I built this site to keep track of everything from trips to receipts. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Tandy Services is a giant website that will allow you to do trip sheets to keep track of your trips, routes, fuel costs, def costs, payouts, etc. You can add images of the truck and trailer, the load, and more. <div dir="auto"> </div><div dir="auto">If there is an incident or accident, you can add the images, video, and paperwork involved. You can add your statement of what happened right here while fresh in your mind.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">We decided to add state links for oversized haulers. These links will give you the regulations for each state.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">We also added a dictionary of boat terms for boat haulers. There are so many different terms and when hauling boats, it helps to know what they are talking about.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Tandy Services allows you to do so much, especially in the trucking industry, all in one place. It is easy to use and keeps track of everything you do and once the trip is marked finished, a company, or you, can print out the entire trip and all information in a pdf. At this time the website is geared towards boat haulers, but it can be reconfigured for other hauling needs.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">The site is a great helper for us because if a question arises, we can look back at the site and find the answers.
